This timer is primarily for those who are developing their cars before the race. Its purpose is to help you fine tune your car BEFORE the race so that you can WIN!
Some people have gotten together and found two groups, like two Cub packs, and each group has purchased a DT1000 timer. Then, each group used the timer during their race preparations. On the day of the race, the two timers are used together (one per lane) to achieve accurate timing for the races.
Note: If you will sometimes use a track with 2 or more lanes, then you should purchase either the DT2000 or DT8000: The DT2000 gives the times and finishing order (when applicable) for either a 1 or 2 lane track. The DT8000 works on tracks with 1 to 8 lanes and automatically adjusts to the number of lanes in use. The DT1000 can be upgraded later to the DT2000 or DT8000 by purchasing one of our hardware upgrades, available today.
